Upgrades Advance OvaEasy incubators to EX specification.
Improved control for valuable and hard-to-incubate eggs.
The standard OvaEasy Series II 100, 190, 380 and 580 Advance provide a continuous readout of incubation humidity but requires the user to alter humidity to achieve the ideal average level. The EX version with the Humidity Pump effectively maintains the humidity level precisely at the level the user sets irrespective of changes in room humidity and so overcomes problems that can commonly lead to eggs failing to hatch – especially in the latest stages of incubation. The Humidity Pump includes an external water reservoir eliminating the chances of water in the incubator harbouring bacteria.
The Humidity Pump module is designed to work seamlessly with the OvaEasy Series II 100, 190, 380 and 580 Advance incubators. Installation is a simple plug-in.
The pump is also compatible with the older style TLC-40 TLC-50 Advance Models Intensive Care units (not Series II models).
Protected by Biomaster antimicrobial additive: proven to reduce bacterial growth by 99.99% and 100% safe for eggs, chicks and humans. Protects hatches from microbial transfer by cross contamination helping to reduce unexplained hatching failures.
Product code: AD25

Holds the humidity very well, and removes all the stress of having to keep checking that the incubator has water in. Just a little bit noisy, when its refilling.

First year using the humidity pump really helped boost our hatch rate. Great product definitely recommend it.

Bought two of these three years ago. Keep humidity EXACTLY to the setting, and holds it! Important to know you need to replace silicone pipes every couple of months. Successfully hatched American Kestrels this year for the first time, also kookaburras for the second time. Only ever use Brinsea equipment including incubators and brooders.
Good product

Works brilliantly with my brinsea 380 egg incubator. Can control the humidity to the exact percent which is extremely helpful especially at hatching, the only thing is to be careful the tube doesn’t fall out of the sponge and spill, if it does it spills to the floor no electrical damage just have to clean it up. Really good product, glad I purchased!!
Easy to connect

No more checking if there is water in the incubator. The humidity reading is more constant. It’s very easy to connect and install. I personally think every incubator must have one.
We made our own resovoir.

I am happy with the incubator itself however the humidity pumps water resovoir needs refilling mutiple times a day and there doesnt prove to be useful so instead we made our own resovoir by using a bucket of water which hasnt been refilled for 2 weeks and is still mainly full. So I am now satisfied.
Noisey

I feel the need to right you this review about your humidity pump for the brinsea overeasy 360 and 180, infact its ntot just the pump, its the whole incubator, Its noisey, fills with limescale, even from bottled water bought from the shop, the actuall circuit board had blown twice on me, once halfway through the middle of a incubation, took brinsea 4-5 weeks to send me a replacement card, I would not reccomend this product, and id buy from R-com next time, thought i was putting my money to brinsea for good quality , i wasnt :(
Response from Brinsea: We're sorry that you have had problems. Bottled mineral water has far more dissolved solids than tap water and will leave more deposits. Distilled water shouldn't leave any residues. We sent you a new circuit board to rectify the problem and requested that you return the faulty circuit boards to establish what the problem was but it appears that you did not send them back. If you could do this we can then provide you with a report on the problem.
Purchased last year.

I purchased an OvaEasy 190 incubator last year and need to consider an easier and more consistent humidity management strategy. Keeping the unit water reservoir filled was a never ending task! This humidity management system seems like a good option, although somewhat expensive. I need to check the details from one of the U.S. suppliers.
Works well but...

I have had this humidity pump for 2yrs now and it has worked very well apart from one design fault, if the top plastic tube splits then the motor housing fills with water killing the motor. I have had this happen to me twice now it 2 years. the pump needs to be redesigned to make the pump housing waterproof. At £40+ at time it gets expensive.
