With great visibility of the hatching eggs and the convenience of integral water pump, integral automatic humidity control and the latest technical innovations from Brinsea it takes the guesswork out of incubation.
Maxi 24 EX incubator now holds 24 hens' eggs, thanks to Brinsea's new, innovative system of egg disk quadrants. These quadrants simply clip together to allow eggs of one size to be incubated or eggs of different sizes to be incubated together when using different species specific quadrants. Comes supplied with quail, hen, duck & goose quadrants as standard.
The Maxi 24 EX turns the eggs automatically and provides full digital control of temperature and humidity. Brinsea's patented alarms warn of power failure and incubation temperature fluctuations, this machine also features periodic cooling options. With a high frequency turn option this machine is suitable for incubating a wide range of species.

My Maxi 24 EX is the best incubator I have ever used - it is SO easy! Now just to save up for a bigger one!
we are new to incubators and started off with a £50 job, purchased from the daughters of Ares, with mixed results (between 65% and 25% hatch rate). we have upgraded to a maxi 2 ex and wow what a difference. cheap incubator holds temp within 1.5c and humidity is an absolute lottery, the maxi 2 holds temp within 0.1c and humidity within 1%. you really do get what you pay for in the world of incubators. at £80 for an incubator full of hatchings eggs the price difference between the two incubators very quickly swings things in favour of brinsea.
For a long time, I have been hearing about Brinsea, and at first glance, you will not think that this device deserves this reputation, but with actual use, you will fall in love with this brand. I now have the Maxi 24 Ex 3 devices, perhaps the only ones in Egypt. I am an experienced parrot breeder and hatcher, and I use many in the hatchery, but honestly Maxi has a special taste
I had the Maxi 24 EX delivered earlier this week and have quail eggs in it now. It is a fantastic machine with a really high spec which is working impeccably so far. Temperature and humidity levels are perfectly accurate according to my own calibrated thermometer/ hygrometer.
Very cool device. I have used Maxi Ex for years for parrot eggs, excellent result, so I decided to buy this new model and I hope to get Ovation zoologica in the future
This incubator is by far the best incubator I have ever purchased. The temperature and humidity are perfectly calibrated. I hatched Serama chicken eggs with a 92% hatch rate from eggs I got in the post! For anybody that knows Seramas you can expect a 30% hatch rate, so I am extremely chuffed with my Brinsea incubator. It's really hassle free and once you put the eggs in, it does all the work.
