Today’s news featured a story about the planned obsolescence of products that costs consumers and the environment. It has been found that some products are actually designed to fail soon after purchase, one kettle was found to have a lifespan of just a month – but because it was so cheap purchasers just threw it away and bought a new one!
Meet Tom. Tom is Brinsea’s technical whizz. Tom has been working for Brinsea for almost 40 years and what he doesn’t know about our products isn’t worth knowing! Tom has a ‘magic box’ that he keeps all sorts of spare parts in, so that we do our very best to keep your Brinsea products working for many, many years – we have customers still using Brinsea incubators that are over 30 years old.
