We have the most brilliant staff at Brinsea, they have all been working so hard to get stock to distributors around the world and orders out to direct customers in very challenging circumstances. Most of our staff have been working overtime and many have been working weekends to help us to build our incubators, brooders and intensive care units. We have had the busiest season on record, and export orders are still coming in.
As a small token of our appreciation we arranged for a delivery of Brinsea hampers to be delivered to our factory, full of delicious produce all made in Somerset! We worked closely with the Hamper Guys, based in Taunton, to create a hamper full of tasty treats for each member of staff – all sourced from Somerset manufacturers as we strongly believe in supporting other local businesses. Our hampers included Thatchers Cider, Barbers 1833 cheese (probably the best Cheddar cheese in the world!), Cheese Straws from the Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company, bags of Radfords sweets and fudge, marmalade, jams and chutneys from Bumblees Preserves, Mr Miles West Country Tea and Filberts nuts and olives.
The Hamper Guys also helped to create hampers suitable for staff members with specific dietary requirements – we would highly recommend them if you need hampers creating.
