We got a lovely Facebook message from Elayann Mustafa Salim who shared some of his photos of his latest Brinsea incubator purchase with us in Israel. Naturally, we had to find out more about him and his hatching plans for his new incubators.
‘I live in Jerusalem, and I am quite new to bird keeping and hatching. I’ve kept birds for the last five years. I’m always looking out for all kinds of rare birds to preserve them and produce eggs for hatching. I have many beautiful birds that I care for and look after, it’s a really good hobby to have. It’s a nice thing to take care of birds, it’s fun. I keep lots of the birds that I hatch, but I also sell some of them. I mainly hatch different breeds of chickens and pheasants.
I have heard about Brinsea incubators a lot since my interest in birds began, they have a very good reputation. I bought an OvaEasy 380 four years ago and I was very happy with it. It is very well made and I had great hatching results. This month I bought three new Brinsea incubators from Brinsea’s agent in Israel because they are so accurate and reliable. I use Brinsea because I know I get good hatch rates with my special eggs.’
Very helpful company. I have a 2005 incubator made by them that has been in more or less constant use since I bought it new. I dropped it yesterday and broke the fan, called them up and it being so old...
