Saving Our Ducklings: How Brinsea and English Country Life Came to the Rescue
‘We started incubating our duck eggs in a cheap imported incubator from China and the humidity was all over the place, so I contacted Fiona from English Country Life who was quick to help and support me with ordering the right incubator from Brinsea Products Ltd. I was so impressed with both Fiona’s knowledge and experience and the working relationship they have with Brinsea.
We got the Brinsea Maxi 24 EX Connect incubator the next day, it was easy to set up and with the app I have never had such an easy hatch. I love my new incubator and hope to save up to order another one! Because we had such a good hatch, we’ve also been able to help out a farm friend locally as they had a single runner duck hatch out of six eggs a week ago, so two of our babies will go and make new friends with our neighbour’s duckling and keep him/her company. I was so grateful for the speedy help from Fiona at English Country Life and the team at Brinsea. I chose Brinsea because I follow English Country Life and they explain everything about how to use Brinsea incubators so clearly – I am also making more of an effort these days to support British companies and farming.
The ducklings are thriving now, they are still finding their feet and tucking into their food and water.’
