Response from Brinsea: We are confused by your review, Clare. Power supply units sold by Brinsea are certified to the latest appropriate standards for safety, efficiency and environmental factors. They have the correct regulated voltage and current ratings as well as thermal and circuit protection to work with the intended Brinsea products. Use of an appliance with an inappropriate power supply unit may damage the product, cause malfunction or loss of eggs or present a fire and safety hazard.
