Now whilst I’m not a big fan of corporate advertising or product placement I have to give credit where credit is due. Yesterday Tom broke the element in my Hatchmaker with five day old chicks in it. This meant that the 24 hrs I thought I had to move on the older chicks that my friend hatched for me and preprare the brooder for them was suddenly gone, also I have five East Indis due to hatch this weekend that I need to transfer to the Hatchmaker, a stressful occurrence, I believe you will agree? First port of call was to Brinsea to order but their cut off for ordering is twelve o clock… now I’m at home, its 11:45, Tom is in his pjs my wallet is at the farm… DOH! So with a bit of charm I explained the situation and the lady took my details and says she will do her best. Off I rush to the farm to grab my wallet and make payment, after asking if I could pay extra for next day delivery she explains that they don’t offer that but will mark the order as urgent, OK, I says, fair enough I says, thank you I says. Well first thing this morning a replacement element arrives, so I was straight on the phone to thank the lovely ladies at Brinsea!
