384 hens' egg capacity

The OvaEasy 100 Advance Series II is fitted with Brinsea's proven digital control system which provides a range of useful and easy-to-use extra features like humidity readout and temperature alarms. It can be easily upgraded to EX specification providing fully automatic humidity control. Ova-Easy Advance Series II incubators now have improved features which include room temperature alarms to warn if the environmental temperature goes outside the optimum range and a new single button press to automatically level the shelves for tray access. Eggs can be at risk if the room temperature gets too hot or too cold, and the Series II room temperature alarm warns you should room temperature move outside the optimal range. A single button press automatically levels the egg trays without the user having to wait meaning no watching and waiting for the trays to be level. Revised cabinet design improves panel fit for better temperature and humidity control and higher efficiency.

Capacity when using species specific trays:

  • Quail - 1738 eggs
  • Pheasant - 466 eggs
  • Hen - 384 eggs
  • Turkey/Duck - 265 eggs
  • Goose - 126 eggs

Performance and ease of use

  • Four small fans blowing air in lamina flow around the egg chamber provide much better temperature distribution than a single, large fan. This approach, coupled with the high levels of insulation mean that temperature is extremely evenly distributed throughout the egg chamber, ensuring good hatch rates, time after time.
  • Eggs are held in removable trays and the user can configure their incubator to their needs by the choice of trays available. Universal trays are adjustable for egg size from quail through to goose and are supplied as standard.
  • Eggs are initially set in three levels and are then moved to a large, removable hatching tray at the base of the chamber for the final stages of incubation and hatching. The hatching trays come complete with removable covers to contain the chicks.
  • The convenient control panel allows the user to adjust the temperature, humidity (EX versions only) ventilation and turning easily. Temperature and humidity levels are shown on a calibrated digital display on the front of the panel.
  • The fully automatic turning can be switched off from the control panel while the eggs are being accessed or the incubator cleaned.
  • Brinsea have incorporated a cooling option in all their Advance models of egg incubators for proven increases in hatch rates. This feature turns the incubator's heater and low temperature alarm off for a selected period but keeps the fan running. After the cooling period is complete the incubator reverts to normal temperature and the alarm is automatically reset.

Construction – durable and energy efficient

The Ova-Easy models have fully protected steel chassis which are rigid and rust resistant with laminated high density polystyrene sides providing good thermal insulation and smooth, easy to clean surfaces. The transparent, double glazed door provides thermal insulation plus the convenience of total visibility of eggs and hatched chicks.

Options

OvaEasy 100, 190, 380 and 580 Advance EX Series II - EX versions provide fully automatic humidity control.

The EX versions provide improved control for valuable and hard-to-incubate eggs. Humidity is a crucial factor in the successful incubation (or otherwise) of eggs and the EX versions of the OvaEasy 100, 190, 380 and 580 Advance incubators put accurate control of humidity in the hands of the user.

The standard OvaEasy 100, 190, 380 and 580 Advance provide a continuous readout of incubation humidity but requires the user to alter humidity to achieve the ideal average level. The EX version with the Humidity Pump effectively maintains the humidity level precisely at the level the user sets irrespective of changes in room humidity and so overcomes problems that can commonly lead to eggs failing to hatch – especially in the latest stages of incubation. The Humidity Pump includes an external water reservoir eliminating the chances of water in the incubator harbouring bacteria.

The Humidity Pump module is designed to work seamlessly with the OvaEasy Advance incubators and can be purchased later as an upgrade from Advance to Advance EX status, product code: AD25.

PLEASE NOTE: Low room temperature alarm may be triggered at approximately these temperatures to provide early warning of compromised performance - Ova-Easy 100/190/380/580 Advance/EX: 15°C

We had our 380 advance series 2 for about 3 years now and it never fails. used for duck and/or goose eggs, it works really well. humidity is spot on, without the need for extra. Highly recommend

Love my incubator!

I have always used brinseas and have recently upgraded to the 380, my hatch rates have increased, its so easy to use it really is a "plug and play" incubator so anyone could use it. So pleased I upgraded, really can't rate this machine highly enough. Thankyou brinsea for your help when I called for advice on upgrading.

Brilliant incubator

Brilliant incubator, only tried for quail but fantastic results. Our incubator is on 24/7 with never any problems. Its great knowing we can just leave it alone. We have had a lot of Brinsea products and would never use anything else for our precious eggs.

does the job so well

Posted by Barbara Terry on 24/04/2015

was going to get a 190, they were out of stock so got a 380, so glad I did!!! it is so easy and just does the job so well. now wish I could have another one :-) I did sit it on a filing cabinet so it is up off the floor and easier for me to use as I am old. If you are not sure, give one a go, I have not regretted it and it has returned its cost in a few hatches.

Work horse.

Posted by Davie V K on 15/09/2014

The Brinsea 380. It is a work horse. Had two over 6 years. Each tray with 42 eggs normally 39 hatch. Incubating chicken eggs for 18 days – then on Friday 3am pack the eggs in tissues and polystyrene boxes and a warm ice bag. Leave Stanstead at 7am took EasyJet to Knock in Ireland – land at 8am - there I hour drive to destination. 9am in the incubator – a Brinsea 380 again. Stayed the week-end- three days later and 21 days in total saw them hatch. Celebrated the hatches. While in Ireland fishing in the river Moy lake Khon makes it all worthwhile to the reliability of the Brinsea. Brinsea is excellent. I do not place any water at all. I have two Brinseas –hatching: Quail, peacock, duck, geese, pheasant, chicken, Rheas and even starlings. Watch the Chinese fakes! My friend who bought one at an auction has been stitched up well!!!!!. – 0 hatch. We British must stick to our quality. Keep the good work up.
