My old RCOM 20 died and reasearched incubators to replace it. I decided to go for the maxi II advance and i'm glad i did. Being able to set the days and turning and not have to change settings throughout incubation is great, my old incubator had to be changed to stop turning and increase humidity. I was a little concerned regarding humidity as this was a big problem with my old incubator even though it had humidity control. I have been pleasantly suprised with the use of a meter in the incubator. It has been so much easier to control. Have hatched 3 lots of chicks and 1 lot of ducks (hatched yesterday). Only criticism is that there is no cover over the water filler and it easily gets dirt and dust in, so cover with paper towel.

So impressed.

Just finished first hatch in the Maxi II Advance and I am so happy with it. I have been struggling on with an old Italian made incubator for a few years, which always ended in difficult hatches and poor rates of success. I had 14 hen eggs in, 3 were not fertile, so left with 11 at 8 days. Now have 11 lovely chicks who all basically exploded out of there shells with ease, just as they should do. I checked the temperature a few times with a high quality digital thermometer and it was bang on and never varied. Very quick to return to temperature when lid removed. Easy to clean when all done. Would highly recommend, worth every penny.

When my elderly Brinsea Octagon 10 incubator finally gave up, I ummed and aahed for days on which incubator to replace it, finally deciding on the maxi II advance as I knew Brinsea were well made and reliable, but have no experience of other makes; anyway have just hatched some cream legbars and am thrilled with it as it is so easy to use and even counts down the days for you, and when the hatch starts you can see everything that is going on inside. Very happy with this incubator.

Maxi II Advance Incubator

Saves a lot of time waiting for infertile eggs with the MAXI 11 -INCUBATOR STARTER PACK Very pleased with first season with Guinea fowl. Plenty of eggs around the garden were and are collected. Three chicks from first collection some infertile eggs and had a problem with claw feet I fed the chick on grated almonds it is the runt of the three but it cured it's feet. As I was incubating in the garage I read it might be due to the change in the outer temperature. I have now purchased a plant propagator with variable control set at 18c and placed the incubator in side with the Eco Chick brooder beside it on a towel for a non slip floor space where they stay for two weeks. They are then placed outdoors in the Chicken House with another heated chick brooder with access to a covered outside area for four weeks. 12 chicks so far

Maxi ll Advance

Had the 7 egg version for several years which I was alwaysvery happy with, but due to Mr Fox visiting the pen (my fault) I needed to restock.. I decided to buy the 14 egg version which allowed me using both incubators to incubate 21 eggs. 5 hatched from the small incubator and 14 out of 14 from the Maxi ll. So easy to use. Just set the automatic controls, keep the water topped up (from the out side) and away you go. Success every time!!!. Only one impossible complaint. Brinsea please find a way to produce all hens and no cocks from the eggs. GREAT PRODUCT.
