I found this easy to use, and was fascinated with watching the chicks hatch. Used for chickens and quail. Definitely recommend.

I was advised by a friend to get a Brinsea for my first time hatching. Great recommendation, instructions clear and easy to set up. We were able to watch the chicks hatch. I will definitely choose a Brinsea in the future if I decide to expand.

I tell everybody about Brinsea!

I started with a little mini 2 and hatched every egg I put in it. That was it! I was hooked! I needed another, and another! I cant praise them enough! They fulfill all promises and their customer service is impeccable. Always friendly and helpful staff! I tell all of my egg buyers about Brinsea. There are no other incubators on the market worth buying as far as I'm concerned! Thank you Brinsea and your lovely staff!

This was my 1st time hatching eggs and found this incubator really easy to use. Instructions are easy to understand etc. I would highly recommend this little incubator to anyone, especially 1st time users. Brinsea also have loads of videos on how to use there products on YouTube etc.

Overall not bad for the money but could be better

Easy to set up and get going and useful instructions and guidance for the various egg types. Quite good value compared to some models I believe. There are a couple of issues that could, I think, be easily rectified.: 1. The cover is smooth and having just washed your hands to handle the eggs it can easily slip from your grip and smash the eggs- some small handles or texture on the cover to aid grip would be useful. 2. The temperature range for all the egg types is in the 0.1 degrees (so for Ducks it needs to be 37.4-37.6 degrees centigrade) but the internal thermometer is in 0.5 increments so it is exceptionally hard to ensure the temperature is correct. I solved this by buying a separate digital thermometer. However Brinsea could supply the incubator with a thermometer with 0.1 degree increments. 3. Finally, and most frustrating, is the temperature control. A tiny fiddly plastic screwdriver to fit into a slot on a small adjustment screw. There is no positive engagement between screwdriver and screw so it is had to tell if you are actually turning the screw and tricky to see. Worst of all is the increments again; a quarter of a turn is roughly 2 degrees so if you need to raise or lower the temperature by even 0.5 degrees that would be one sixteenth of a turn and you must then monitor the temperature to ensure you have not gone too far either way. It is the worst feature since temperature is so critical to hatching your eggs.

Heat adjustment screwdriver

Its a good entry level incubator, the MINI eco11 , but the screwdriver is tiny, I have to summon my wife to do the adj's. There's ample room to put a longer more manageable screwdriver in. I buy British whenever it's possible and will pay the extra pound (s) for the quality however this screwdriver belongs in a cracker at Xmas. Overall I'm impressed with my incubator and will stay loyal to the Brinsea brand . Regards Ted K
